So, today was pretty shit xD

One of my customers handed me a leaking bottle of bleach without telling me what was wrong with it. I'm currently re-dying my pants black to get rid of the orange splotches now adorning one thigh.

Oh, and I got yelled at for turning up to my rostered shift. This supervisor is an absoloute IDIOT. She was fiddling around with the christmas roster, which she had 4 weeks to do, and not telling anyone about the shifts she'd changed around because she went overbudget on the payroll.

The payroll department is on holidays for the next two weeks, so any money that we get is calculated from the times set up on the rosters. For starters, she CANCELLED the shift i had this morning, then gave me another one for tomorrow and DIDN'T CALL ME.

ALL THIS in the week before christmas when people are organizing holiday plans.

So i turn up for my shift, get SCREAMED at for being there and she huffily goes and pencils me in for the shift i was rostered for (the rosters out the back hadn't even been altered. I checked them last night when i went shopping) and turns around to tell me 'well, i don't want you coming in for your shift tomorrow then'.

Um, lady? I wasn't rostered to work tomorrow.

I then get another huffy 'well, i forgot to phone you to tell you that your shifts had changed. You should have come in and checked.'

Huhwhat? I did check, last night. During my break i went and checked the roster again. No change, still working tuesday and saturday as i was SUPPOSED to.

Apparently I just got in trouble for not being psychic, go figure.

What...the...? Wow. That is a blinding amount of wrongness and assmonkery right there. This woman sounds crazy. O_O

This is the woman who was screaming so loudly at her little bosom buddy suckup on saturday because we were SWAMPED with customers until half an hour past closing and got no cleaning done and had to go home so we wouldn't get paid overtime that we could hear her from the locker room almost 200m away behind 2 freezers and 2 shut doors.

I would have stayed to help if, y'know, she wasn't such a cow all the time.

O_o Sweet googly moogly. I've never heard of getting screamed at for showing up to work. This lady sounds like she might, literally, have some sort of psychological issue going on - that's pretty extreme. Hang in there, sweetie *hugs*
