we had 1 lesson dive and one free dive today. i took heaps of pictures on my disposable camera so i should be able to scan them in and show you once they're developed.

also, i accidentaly left my pants on the bus... i'll go get them on monday

i have an image of Metroplex having a large room somewhere with boxes of drone-parts.... like IKEA!

"Ugh, 'Plex? Why are there like... twelve boxes in here with 'car drone' written on them? 0_o"

Don't use the optics though, they're faulty. make sure you're careful with the vocalizers too, some of them have some pretty epic glitches (but those are mostly in the 'tank drone' boxes). allen keys are taped to the underside of the box lids.

should i find it weird that i have at least 10 people who have admitted to stalking around my journal just to read the comments i make? 0_o

today i spent the whole day training in a pool.
i am EXHAUSTED.

I did enjoy the strange looks we kept getting from people who were also using the public pool. it was especially hilarious when i surfaced next to a bunch of high school kids having a swimming lesson and one of them gushed "OH MY GOD!! YOU GUYS ARE SO COOL!!"

I lolled.... hard.... into my respirator... then ended up choking on water a little...

on a similar note, no one ever tells you how HEAVY scuba gear is.

a twenty pound weight belt plus all the rest of that stuff.
i was carrying around more than 2/3 of my body weight when outside of the pool. try climbing one of those little pool ladders with that much weight strapped to your back.

my neck is killing me (runs away to find some anti-inflammatory muscle gel)

Uhh, antepathy wanted to see the doodle i did of sparky in my notebook yesterday.

he's a drone, so no spark, made from bits and pieces out of metroplex's spare drone parts. Slingshot and Scamper put him together as a present for Fireflight. He's tiny, a UAV rather than an actual helicopter, about the size of a large toy for 'Flight.

He's a bit mis-matched because most of the helicopter parts were faulty. so they made him from the parts of about 7 different build-it-yourself drones.

Origins of tiny helo-drone can be found in (yet another crack filled) conversation i had in the comments on tv_the_sues journal.
