I have no idea why it's so long, it just kind of... became that way by its own. It's like 80% done and one day I will grab my javelin and civan and beat it into submission!

Maybe Metroplex closes off those portions of the hallways when Jet is laying there senseless so people don't find him, there's lots of alternative routes.
