Spot: ah, they do remember stuff. It may be a little embarrassing but, yeah, they have to know who the sparklings parents are.

Spot: *leaning against the wall next to bolts room* Stages. these guys seem to be coming out of it a bit; i thought i heard them talking before.

Blades: they were a little but why would that have anything to do with it?

Spot: when they're in heat their translation protocols revert to vos-standard. ratchet said the city of vos on cybertron is where ALL winged flyer programing comes from. that's why skyfire went loopy too, even though he's a shuttle. apparently shuttle is just a really large version of seeker coding.

Spot: *chuckles* me too. though conversation between themselves is always is vossian. thats what all the revving, growling and chirping is about. though Bolt never bothers with the "hold still" bit; he just magnetizes you to the nearest metal surface.

Sandstorm: -.- in most species, going into heat entails becoming docile and wanting to be the one carrying the sparkling, not the other way around.

Spot: well, jets are a species unto themselves. only the ones who get "claimed" go docile, the "claim-ers" tend to get a little aggressive.

Blades: sooooo, starscream and his trine?

Spot: completely harmless, though skyfire is another story.

Sandy: so raid went all quiet and docile because dive pseudo-claimed him?

Spot: yeah, kindof. he's not really claimed because they're brothers but dive has added him to his group.

Spot: my guess, they've been doing it so long that it's routine. plus, skyfire is HUGE compared the seekers. a fight would end up with skyfire winning anyway.

Spot: it's because, on some level, he recognizes that dive would win in a fight anyway. also, they tend to be rather, ugh, aware of the needs of their claims. Streets needed aid and groove, raid supplied. Plus, streetwise wasn't claimed for "mating" purposes, just companionship.
