me: *spends entire day doing assignment that's due tomorrow,  cleans room, does 3 loads of washing, feeds the chickens, takes the dog for a walk, and goes upstairs to start cutting up meat for dinner*

mum: *is apparently displeased with how i'm cutting the chicken or something. i don't know* why don't you get off your lazy ass and do something? you've been downstairs all day doing nothing (note that my bedroom, the laundry AND my computer are downstairs)
