Fireflight wriggled, the small dragon folding her fluffy wings close and sneaking closer through the snow. Watching the rabbit with large eyes for a few moments before lunging after it and tumbling down the incline.
It wasn't like 'flight was trying to catch the fuzzy thing, they were just so much fun to chase. Silverbolt kept telling her not to, spooking the bunnies all the time just made them harder to catch later when they actually wanted to eat.
At least the fliers had it easier, smaller flightless dragons having to make do with whatever they could run down. A job made all that much harder for those like Prowl and Bluestreak, their small wings doing not much more than looking pretty and hurting a lot when they hit them on things.
Speaking of Bluestreak, Fireflight purred, spotting the gray and red scales of the flightless as he scavenged around the tree line. Stubby gray wings twitching backwards and forwards as he searched under the snow for things to eat.
The flier snickered, mostly white, feather covered coat both protecting her from the cold snow and camouflaging her against it almost completely.
Stalking her new 'prey' silently before pouncing him with a playful roar she skittered away. Bluestreak yelping loudly and shimmying up a tree, thoroughly confused as his fluffy attacker dove back under a snow bank to hide.
