In my head, Slammer's got a robot form, just never takes it cause he can't speak. So Slingshot would later claim him too.
Darn jet gets hisself a drone harem. Metroplex finds in neccessary to ask Silverbolt to risk getting a hand bitten off so the drones can escape.
Later still, Slingshot tried to claim Metroplex when he transformed, and even beat Trypticon in defense of HIS mate.
